About Me
Hello, my name is Damarius and I'm currently an Interior Architecture student at The Cleveland Institute of Art. My passion for art was instilled in me from a young age and blossomed as I got older. I truly believe that art saved my life and that I wouldn't be where I am today without it. After I graduate I would love to focus on designing in commercial and healthcare spaces, I believe hospitals should represent a safe space to heal and grow.
In my free time I enjoy being a patient advocate for those battling chronic illnesses. I'm very passionate about this topic and actively try to set a good example and help those my age heal from past trauma. I currently sit on the Oley Foundation board to help pick scholarship winners for chronically ill children wanting to further their education.  I'm also apart of a non-profit organization called Healthbeme which focuses on patient advocacy and care.
